Welcome to Paris. The city of love and light. The city of oohh lala and Mon dieu, tu es tres belle mademoiselle. Let’s see what Paris has to offer from a photogenic viewpoint. Make sure you dress to impress for this citytrip.

For a complete overview of all the best photo spots in Paris, with exact locations, see the map at the bottom.

The Eiffel Tower from place de Trocadéro

Another must have, can't miss Eiffel tower shot. Definitely one to show up early morning, but then there's actually several beautiful snaps to be shot here. Start here, while you move forward towards the Eiffel tower and take a sit on the edge of the place or on the handrail when taking the stairs down and you'll go home happy. Guaranteed!

La Maison Rose

The most famous shot here is to walk away from the Maison over the crosswalk. But don't stop there. You've traveled a while to get here. Try different angles in front of the pretty pink wall as well. Tip, if you're bringing props, a rose would be a nice touch.

Cafe de Flore

As with many photos in front of the restaurants in France, you want to be walking towards, or away from the entrance for this shot. This is a more formal place so that makes a perfect opportunity for that business attire you've been dragging around all holiday. Tip: Use the lines of the crossway in your photo.

Moulin Rouge

At the Moulin Rouge you definitely dress to impress. This is where you want to stand. Just on the sidewalk or a little bit on the street. Get your folding fan out and click away. Tip: Make sure you get enough of the Moulin in your picture, but don't go to far away. A little mystery around the edges of your photo will do it good.

La Favorite Saint Paul

This is how you dreamt your first own house would look like when you were young. The owner of La Favorite kept that dream alive and they actually did it. Walk away from the pink, walk towards it. Have a seat, order a strawberry dessert and snap away at this astonishing location. Tip: Pink up!

Eiffel tower from Avenue de Camoens stairs

With the Eiffel tower in the background you're always ahead, but we're not here to win, we're here to perfect. So take a seat on the edge, lean back on the handrail of swirl some rounds right above the stairs and you'll go home with the perfect

The Arc de Triomphe on the bench

Time for some serious acting with props and all. Get your newspaper out, read a book, look intelligent over your glasses or take a bite out of your croissant. Snap, and you're famous!

Les Bouquinistes

Another intellectual shot. Dive into this literary goldmine of Les Bouquinistes. It doesn't get more Parisian than this. Walk around, grab a book and snap your shot!

Le Pyramide du Louvre from Le Café Marly

This might be the best shot you can make with the Pyramide du Louvre. The setting is just perfect. Order a table full of French delight and a colourful drink or a glass of wine and you're all set for this shot. Tip: Make sure you get seated at the edge. To take measures in your own hand and have a somewhat clear view, reserve a table here for breakfast. Le Café Marly opens at 8:30.

Rue Crémieux

Once upon a time a rainbow touched down in Paris and it fell in love with the city, taking permanent residence in Rue Crémieux. Your shot is middle of the road, but also try to lean against some of the beautiful colourful houses or stand in front of a door. You know, get creative. Make the most of this location. Tip: colourful props. An umbrella or flower bouquet will make you stand out!

Pink Mamma

Pink Mamma is perfect for a nice stop in between your busy day. They do serve walk ins, but if you want to be sure of this shot, make a reservation for lunch. You won't be disappointed and you'll have a lovely photo to take home ;) Tip: Move around. Don't only use the corner. Walk up and down the stairs. Hold the handrail, look up, look down and change some camera angles. You know the drill.

The Notre Dame

On track to open up again in December 2024 after the devastating fire. This iconic cultural landmark can't miss on your trip to Paris. Combine it with this lovely photo setup and a stroll past the Bouquinistes. Tip: Use some props for this shot. Maybe a book you bought during your stroll.
