If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. The Big Apple. The City that never sleeps. This is where dreams are fulfilled and where fame lies just around the corner. We’ve selected the most New Yorkish selfiespots for you.

For a complete overview of all the best photo spots in New York, with exact locations, see the map at the bottom.

DUMBO

Down Under The Manhattan Bridge Overpass. That's where it's at for this amazing photo. Walk here from the Brooklyn Bridge and after taking your pictures there, this is your next photo destination.

You can plan this photo towards the end of your day and stay in the area for dine and well deserved drinks after a day of hard work 🍸

Joker Stairs - Guason stairs

Get your clown face going and swing your legs around for this epic movie re-enactment. These are the stairs where Joaquin Phoenix danced off in his role as the Joker. The scene didn't go unnoticed and it might be that you have to wait your turn for this picture, so have your moves thought out when it's time to take the stage... or the stairs. Chaos!

Stuyvesant Street

If any streetcorner could embody glamour, it's the one on Stuyvesant street. I don't know what it is exactly but this street corner has serious star power. In the summer you'll find the house covered in green vegetation. Middle of Manhattan so definitely incorporate this picture in your New York citywalk.

Washington square Arch

Find a little bit of Paris in the Washington square Park. Arches always give a sense of history. Often the beginning, end or entrance to and from a new world. The park itself isn't that big and not the best place for relaxing, but if you happen to be around, make a smal detour for this photo.

TIP: Take some distance and see if you can give the fountain a role in your picture too, but definitely go in for some close ups too where you take the picture from a lower point.

Oculus World Trade Center

This is how Jonah must have felt being inside the whale for three days. Maybe the over towering columns of concrete make a slightly better backdrop then what he had to work with. This building gives vibes. It invites you to play around with it's architecture. Find your spot and snap your shot!

Brooklyn Bridge Promenade

The early bird catches the emptiest bridge. Although this specific photo is extremely rare. Nobody else in it! All we can say is well done and get here early. The Brooklyn Bridge is one of those must visits once in the Big Apple. And then you definitely take the Promenade on top.

Nomo Soho Hotel

This is a nice picture to make if you happen to be in the area. The green bows with lightening in it give a nice touch to your picture. Not the most iconic of locations, but if you happen to be in the area, drop in for some pictures and good food.

TIP: The lights are on during the day as well, but of course a bit of evening darkness make the scene stand out more.

Delmonico's

Allright, allright, Stuyvesant might not be the only glamorous street corner New York has to offer. This intersection of five streets has that x factor too. On the corner of S. William and Beaver st. you'll find Delmonico's. This building gives the perfect NY city backdrop for your innercity commute shot.

TIP: Take your picture from across the street opposite of Delmonico's to catch as much of this iconic building in your frame.

Central Park Bow Bidge

This is the most iconic bridge in central park. If you don't shoot it in the background of your boatride picture, you definitely can't miss this shot. Embrace the silence of the park with sight of the buzzing city and scrapers in the distance. Try some different poses here. Sit on the edge, look in the distance towards the towers or face the camera head on.

The Loeb Boathouse

Another lake, another boat photo. You can rent a boat at the Loeb for around $15 and then make your way to the Bow bridge for the best photo setting. Once there, you know the shots. Sit in front and look towards the bridge or towards the camera with the bridge in the back. TIP: Some props will definitely add to this photo. Try a captains hat. A glass of wine or gaze over the top of padle. And... Enjoy the boatride!
